The Chtaura Customs Unit, following a dangerous chase of a van in the Nabi Sheet area, managed to stop the vehicle carrying 28 Syrian nationals. It was determined that they had entered Lebanese territory illegally, and the van was headed toward the Metn District and Beirut.
The driver and passengers were detained and taken, along with the van, to the Chtaura Customs Center for legal proceedings under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
