April in the Middle of February: Heat and Dust Before the Rain
The Forecasting Division at the Meteorological Service of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation in Lebanon predicts that warm air masses will dominate Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin, causing a noticeable rise in temperatures above seasonal averages, along with a decrease in humidity. This influence will continue until Tuesday morning, when the region will be affected by a moderately active low-pressure system, leading to lower temperatures returning to seasonal averages, increased humidity, and unstable weather with scattered rain and stronger winds exceeding 90 km/h on Wednesday, especially in the north.

Weather forecast in Lebanon:

Monday: Clear to partly cloudy skies with temperatures above seasonal averages, especially along the coast, accompanied by lower humidity and light dust layers in the air. Gradually, in the afternoon, clouds will increase with medium to high clouds.

Tuesday: Partly to mostly cloudy with active winds reaching 55 km/h, carrying light dust layers, especially in southern Lebanon. Temperatures will drop, humidity will rise, scattered rain may occur (muddy at first) with possible thunderstorms, and fog will form over the mountains.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with further temperature drops. Winds will remain strong, exceeding 90 km/h in northern areas, raising sea waves up to 3 meters. Scattered rain, sometimes heavy, will fall, especially in the north, with lightning, thunder, possible hail, and snow above 1,800 meters. Rain intensity will decrease overnight, with gradual improvement, while fog persists over the highlands.

Thursday: Partly cloudy with a slight temperature drop. Winds remain active, and fog continues over elevated areas.
