Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received at Ain el-Tineh the head of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, MP Mohammad Raad, leading a delegation that included MPs Ali Ammar, Hussein Hajj Hassan, Amin Sherri, Raed Berro, Ali Fayyad and Hassan Fadlallah. Talks covered political and field developments, legislative matters and the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Following the meeting, Raad said discussions were fully aligned, emphasizing that the "national duo" would serve as a platform for broader national unity to confront challenges and safeguard Lebanon’s sovereignty, security and stability. He confirmed that their position on the parliamentary elections was identical and that they would contest the vote together "in any direction it takes."
Berri also received First Vice-Governor of Banque du Liban Wassim Mansouri.
