Lebanese Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian extended his warm congratulations to Saudi Arabia’s Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as well as the Saudi people, on the occasion of the Kingdom’s founding anniversary.
"The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia holds a special place in our hearts. It deserves our highest esteem and respect and stands as a symbol of Islam and Arab values," Sheikh Derian said.
He added, "Saudi Arabia has always stood by Lebanon and continues to support its stability and unity. This commitment stems from the deep fraternal and historical ties between our two countries, dating back to the era of the Kingdom’s founder, King Abdulaziz Al Saud, and continued by his sons, who have remained dedicated to Lebanon’s sovereignty, freedom, and Arab identity."
The Grand Mufti concluded, "May God protect the Kingdom, its leadership, and its people, so that it continues to embrace the causes of Arabs and Muslims everywhere."
