The Lebanese Army Command issued a statement published on X, which read: "While the army was establishing an observation post along the southern border in the Sarda - Marjayoun area, the vicinity of the post came under gunfire from the Israeli side, coinciding with an Israeli drone flying at low altitude and issuing threats in an attempt to force the personnel to leave. The Army Command issued orders to reinforce the post, remain in position, and respond to the sources of fire."
