In light of regional developments, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam is currently holding an expanded meeting at the Grand Serail to review institutional readiness, ensure the continuity of public services and facilities, and emphasize the need to prevent any exploitation or monopolistic practices.

The meeting is attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tarek Mitri, Defence Minister Michel Menassa, Interior Minister Ahmad Hajjar, Economy and Trade Minister Amer Bisat, Social Affairs Minister Hanine Al-Sayyed, Health Minister Rakan Nasreddine, Public Works and Transport Minister Fayez Rasamny, Justice Minister Adel Nassar, Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council Mohammad Al-Mustafa, Secretary-General of the Higher Relief Council Bassam Naboulsi, and Head of the Disaster Management Unit Zahi Chahine.
