Emirates News Agency reported that UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, during which they discussed the developments in the region.
The Saudi Crown Prince expressed the Kingdom’s condemnation of the attacks. Both the UAE President and the Saudi Crown Prince warned of the serious consequences of continued violations of states’ sovereignty.
For his part, bin Salman affirmed that all of the Kingdom’s capabilities are at the UAE’s disposal in support of any measures it takes.
The call is being viewed as a sign of reconciliation between Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, following a period of tension between the two countries.
It was also noted that bin Salman held phone calls with the leaders of Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Jordan.
