The Israeli army announced that “Division 36 forces have, in recent days, begun carrying out focused ground operations toward an additional objective in southern Lebanon, in order to expand the scope of the forward defense zone.”

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee revealed on platform X that “alongside forces from Division 91, and as a continuation of its previous mission, the troops are continuing efforts to consolidate the forward defense zone, with the aim of removing threats and establishing an additional security layer for residents of the north. Prior to the troops’ entry, the army carried out strikes using artillery forces and air force aircraft targeting numerous objectives in the area.”
