Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee wrote on X:
“Southern Lebanon has become a graveyard for Hezbollah operatives; the Air Force and the 91st Division eliminated nine Hezbollah members in southern Lebanon. The 91st Division continues its focused ground operations to expand the advanced security zone in southern Lebanon.
Yesterday, forces observed several Hezbollah members approaching the area where our units were operating. In a rapid detection-and-strike operation, our forces opened fire while the Air Force, under the guidance of the ground units, attacked the operatives and neutralized them. No casualties occurred among our forces.
The Israeli army will continue to act strongly against Hezbollah, which has decided to join the battle under the sponsorship of the Iranian regime, and will not allow harm to come to Israeli citizens.”
