Changing Weather Patterns: Dust Forecasted After Showers
The Meteorological Department at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation predicts relatively unstable weather over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin until Wednesday, with a noticeable rise in temperatures above seasonal averages and dusty winds. On Thursday, Lebanon will be affected by a low-pressure system originating from Greece, bringing heavy rain at times and thunderstorms.

Sea Warning: Wave heights may reach up to 3 meters, especially along the northern coast.

Forecast by Day:

Monday: Cloudy to partly cloudy with a slight rise in temperatures. Fog will form over the mountains. Heavy rain is expected at times before noon, accompanied by lightning, thunder, and active winds. Snow will fall above 1,600 meters. Rain will gradually ease in the afternoon and night.

Tuesday: Partly to mostly cloudy with a slight additional rise in temperatures. Local fog on the mountains. Scattered drizzle in the morning, with light snow above 1,700 meters. Weather stabilizes during the day.

Wednesday: Mostly clear to partly cloudy with high clouds. Temperatures rise significantly above seasonal averages, humidity drops, and winds strengthen, carrying dust.

Thursday: Cloudy with falling temperatures. Scattered rain, heavy at times around midday, accompanied by lightning and thunder. Rain eases gradually in the evening, with thick fog forming over the mountains.
