The spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, wrote on X: “The reserve forces of Brigade 769, under the command of Division 91, continue their focused ground operations to expand the security zone in southern Lebanon, where the forces discovered an underground residential complex containing military equipment and combat gear, including military vests, RPG shells, and explosives.”
He added: “In additional activities, the forces found several weapons caches, including Kalashnikov rifles, RPG launchers, sniper rifles, and equipment designed for long-term habitation. During the sweeping operations, the forces also spotted a Hezbollah observation post, which was quickly destroyed by a tank strike.”
