Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, during a phone call with President Joseph Aoun, expressed his country’s condemnation of the ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanon, which today targeted neighborhoods in the capital, Dahiyeh, the mountains, the Bekaa, as well as the south.

The Italian minister expressed his country’s solidarity with Lebanon and its people during these difficult circumstances and its readiness to contribute to de-escalation and alleviating the suffering of the Lebanese people.

During the call, they also discussed recent developments in Lebanon and the region, and the ways to restore stability to the country.
