According to the National News Agency, the city of Nabatieh was subjected to the largest assault since the beginning of the current war, as Israeli warplanes carried out a series of heavy airstrikes targeting most of its neighborhoods and streets, causing massive destruction.

The strikes around the government Serail in Nabatieh led to the destruction of buildings and resulted in what was described as a massacre at the State Security office, with reports of eight personnel killed as an initial toll.

Ambulance and rescue teams are working to transport the injured to hospitals.
