The Lebanese Army Command issued the following statement:

“In light of the ongoing Israeli attacks on various Lebanese regions and the growing challenges facing the country, recent calls have emerged urging citizens to gather and protest in pursuit of several demands.

The Army Command, while affirming its respect for the right to peaceful expression of opinion, strongly warns against any movement that could endanger stability and civil peace or lead to attacks on public or private property. It also stresses that the army will intervene firmly to prevent any breach of internal stability, at a time when Lebanon needs the highest levels of awareness and responsibility.

The Command further calls on citizens to comply with the instructions of deployed military units.”
