Kataeb lawmakers meet Kuwaiti Ambassador, reaffirm support for sovereignty in both countries
A delegation from the Kataeb parliamentary bloc, led by party leader Samy Gemayel, met with Kuwait’s Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammed Sultan Al Sharaqi, in a meeting that focused on condemning recent attacks targeting both Kuwait and Lebanon.

The discussions also reviewed the broader situation in Lebanon amid ongoing security and military developments in the country and across the wider region.

Talks centered on strengthening cooperation and expressing mutual solidarity in the face of shared regional challenges, particularly what both sides described as attacks affecting both Lebanon and Kuwait. Participants stressed the importance of aligning positions and supporting efforts aimed at safeguarding sovereignty and maintaining stability in both countries.

The meeting was attended by Counselor Abdulaziz Hamidan Al-Dalh and First Secretary Abdullah Khaled Al-Dayeen from the Kuwaiti embassy, along with Kataeb lawmakers Nadim Gemayel, Salim Sayegh, and Elias Hankach, as well as Marwan Abdallah, head of the Kataeb Foreign Affairs Department.
