Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received UK Minister for the Middle East and North Africa, Hamish Nicholas Falconer, at the Grand Serail, in the presence of British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamish Cowell.

During the meeting, the British minister affirmed that his country stands by Lebanon and supports the decisions taken by the government, stressing efforts to increase humanitarian aid at this stage.

For his part, Premier Salam thanked the British minister for the political and humanitarian support that the United Kingdom provides to Lebanon.
