The Internal Security Forces issued the following statement:

Following the announcement of the ceasefire, heavy gunfire and even rocket fire were recorded in several neighborhoods of Beirut’s southern suburbs.

Specialized units were immediately deployed to identify those responsible, track them down, and carry out arrests in coordination with the judiciary.

The ISF emphasized that it will not tolerate any breaches of public order and urged citizens to refrain from gunfire under any circumstances, given the serious risks it poses to public safety.
