Netanyahu: Operations in Lebanon Are Not Over Yet
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that, “at the request of U.S. President Donald Trump, we have agreed to a temporary ceasefire in Lebanon.”

He added that “we have not yet completed the mission in Lebanon and there are things we are planning to do, which I will not disclose,” noting that Israel has “for the first time established a deep security buffer along the entire northern border,” and that “Hezbollah today is only a shadow of what it was in the days of Hassan Nasrallah.”

Netanyahu further stated that “for the first time in 43 years, direct contacts are taking place between Israel and Lebanon,” adding that “our next goal is to dismantle Hezbollah, but that requires time, effort, and patience,” and that “we have destroyed around 90% of Hezbollah’s rocket and missile stockpile.”
