Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam wrote on X: “I strongly condemn today’s attack on members of the French contingent in UNIFIL. I have issued strict instructions to immediately launch an investigation to uncover the circumstances of this attack and hold those responsible accountable. It is clear that such irresponsible behavior causes significant harm to Lebanon and its relations with friendly countries that support it around the world.”
