A Lebanese Shiite man addressed his niece in an audio message.

He said in the recording: “I fear God and I respect the fighters and every drop of blood that was shed, but enough is enough,” adding: “Either we build a homeland and follow the President of the Republic, or that’s it.”

He continued: “What do we have to do with all this? We want to be done with it, I have the right to live. I fought and sacrificed and I want nothing from them except for them to leave us alone so we can live.”

He added: “The President of the Republic spoke logically and he is not a traitor, and I am not a traitor either, I am a patriotic man.”
