Road Between Rachaya and Mari Reopened Following Strike
Civil Defense teams at the Lebanese Civil Defense center in Rachaya Al Foukhar have managed to reopen the Rachaya–Mari Road after an Israeli airstrike yesterday evening blocked it with rubble and debris.

The teams worked on the ground using pickaxes, shovels, and their own hands to clear the damage and restore access for civilian traffic, in a scene reflecting the scale of challenges faced by rescue and service teams in border areas.

The road has now been reopened in both directions, restoring normal movement to the town and easing residents’ mobility. The Rachaya–Mari Road is considered a vital artery linking Al Mari to the Hasbaya area, and it also serves as the only access route to the town due to the inability to pass through the Khiam side amid current conditions.
