Patriarch of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church, Youssef Absi, met Monday with French Ambassador to Lebanon, Anne Grillo, who came on a protocol visit.
During the meeting, the Patriarch reportedly explained to his guest the reverberations of the Lebanese crisis on the livelihood and social conditions.
He also voiced appreciation for the role played by France in Lebanon, especially after the blast that his Beirut seaport on August 4th, wishing success for President Emmanuel Macron's initiative.
