A number of protesters gathered at Elia intersection in Sidon on Sunday evening, without blocking the road, in rejection of the deteriorating living conditions and the rise in the dollar exchange rate, amid security measures by the Lebanese army.

Another group of protesters tried to block the eastern highway with waste containers.
