Caretaker Minister of Health, Hamad Hassan, on Friday said via his Twitter account that the campaign to clamp down on medication hoarders continues.
“The results of raids:
- Selling LBP 2.5 billion worth of medicines, which have been seized Al-Aqbieh warehouse, at the subsidized price.
- Jadra warehouse has started disbursing its huge subsidized stock.
- Confiscation of possessions found in unlicensed apartments and warehouses in Toul, Zahle, and Taanayel.
- No interference allowed in the release of any of the five detainees, as per a judicial decision.
The campaign continues,” Hassan tweeted.
