Al Joumhouria newspaper reported that security forces are still analyzing the audio recording attributed to Sheikh Ahmad Al Assir, noting that the military tribunal is sure that the Sunni cleric is still alive.

The daily also mentioned that clerics close to Assir claimed that the latter has managed to flee Lebanon, heading to neighboring Syria.
