Former Syrian President Deputy expected that the Syrian presiden Bashar al-Assad will be killed once the fifth US missile will hit the Syrian territories, during the upcoming Western strike.

Speaking al-Siyassa Kuwaiti daily, Khaddam said that Russia and Iran will not be dragged into the war against the West however both countries are supporting Assad.

Khaddam also revealed that Assad is unable to fight the US strike because his weaponry is too old, doubting that the Syrian response will be one of a kind as the pro-Assad media has been spreading lately.
