Lebanese Politicians … Corrupt To The Bone

Following the outrageous accusations that Lebanese politicians have been flinging at each other, it is not unlikely that Lebanon has, yet again, receded into the quick sand of corruption and fell down the ranking transparency scale to the 176th position - Lebanon was formerly ranked as the 128th most corrupt country.

In the Arab World, the United Arab Emirates came in first place - and 26th on the international scale - followed by Qatar, while each of Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Libya and Somalia were placed at the bottom of the Arab and international ranking as opposed to Denmark and New Zealand.

The MTV has acquired the study conducted by the International Transparency Organization which revealed that the public sector encompassing deputies, ministers as well as the private sector are the most corrupt, as opposed to the Army.
