Future bloc MP Ahmad Fatfat said Thursday that today's terrorism is due to Hizbullah's involvement in Syria, and if the party did not withdraw its fighters the situation will remain the same, because the withdrawal is the only solution.
"It is true that the cabinet shoulders many responsibilities and the security portfolios are in March 14 alliance hands, however we have received them shabby and violated. Everybody knows that resolving the security cases starts with politics and ends with the security and not the reverse," Fatfat said in an interview with al-Joumhouria daily.
The deputy stressed that Hizbullah is being gradually convinced that if the party ever decided to return to the state, it is welcome as a political party and not as arms, resistance and militia.
In conclusion, Fatfat noted that the all issues should be radically treated because settlements are not enough.
"It is not about settlements, only a real project guarantees the salvation of the country and that's in Hizbullah's hands."
