A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck the Aegean Sea off the Greek island of Lemnos on Saturday, without causing any casualties, officials said.
The tremor was felt on the Greek islands of Lemnos and Samothrace as well as along the nearby western coast of Turkey, but was not reported to have caused any damage.
Earthquakes occur frequently in Greece. In January, thousands of people were left homeless by a quake on the Ionian island of Cephalonia, in the west of the country.
