Amal Movement’s Politburo denounced in a statement Friday’s terrorist attack against an ISF checkpoint in Dahr al-Baydar, slamming it as a traitorous attempt to tamper with national security.

“Current events call for immediate political work so as to protect Lebanon from imminent regional sectarian threats,” the statement read, extending deepest condolences to the ISF and the Jamal Eddine family over the martyrdom of Chief Warrant Officer Mahmoud Jamal Eddine.
