Future bloc MP Atef Majdalani praised Tuesday stances supporting Director General of State Security, General George Karaa, who was proved to be serious in his delicate post in such exceptional circumstances.

Majdalani questioned the purpose behind the campaign conducted against Karaa, as well as its timing.

"Lebanon now is in need for cooperation between all security apparatuses in order to preserve civil peace and safety of citizens," Majdalani added.
