He is not King Saul, tormentor of David, but Saul or Shaoul, an abusive teacher.

In one of Burj Hammoud’s public schools, Shaoul hits and abuses his students on a daily basis, and sometimes without prerogative.

The students, mostly children, are familiar with his ways.

As MTV was filming, the said teacher arrived and right before heading inside, he was asked about how he treats the students.

“The good are good and the naughty are naughty,” he said, adding that he doesn’t hit them but lightly disciplines them with a slap or two on the head.

The crew took the footage to the ministry of education and showed it to Education Minister Elias Bou Saab who took a serious decision right after watching the tape.
