Following President Barack Obama's decision to launch airstrikes against the Islamic State in Syria, ISIS released Tuesday a new propaganda video titled "Flames of War."
Al Hayat Media Center, which, according to the Washington-based Middle East Media Research Institute, was established in May as the media arm of the Islamic State.
The relatively short montage shows exploding tanks and ISIS militants apparently preparing to execute captives before the words "Flames of War" flash on the screen, followed by the words, "Fighting has just begun."
Just before the video ends, the screen lights up with the words "Coming Soon," symbolizing a plan to actually turn words into action by the terrorist organization.
The video, similar to previous videos showing the killings of foreign captives, is marked by high production quality and slick editing.
According to a security expert, ISIS seems to be relentlessly moving forward with its heinous plans, not just geographically but also in the caliber it has been setting for its newly amplified threats.
