Al-Jazeera's Beirut Bureau Chief Mazen Ibrahim declared Monday that the Facebook post featured by journalist Faysal al-Kassem does not mirror the channel's viewpoint.

Following talks with Information Minister Ramzi Jreij, Ibrahim slammed Kassem's offensive statement against the army, deeming such an act carried out in the name of journalism as "unacceptable".
