Seemingly minding her own business as she takes the escalator, one lady got a sudden shock when a clown slapped a cream pie in her face, prompting a hilarious reaction from the angry woman.

Furious at the clown, she begins to storm down the escalator before attempting to hurl her handbag and her shoes at the entertainer.

The amusing video was filmed by a series of secret cameras in a shopping centre in Brazil and was shown on a local comedy television show.

Dressed in an orange suit and mint green trousers, the makeup covered clown begins to travel down the escalator, heading in the opposite direction to the woman on the other escalator.

Reaching across, he plonks the cream pie into the unexpecting woman's face. The shocked woman flails her arms up at the attacker, attempting to fend off the clown.

Embarrassed by the clown, the woman becomes enraged and immediately hurls her bag of shopping at the escaping fool.  

White globules of cream drip down from the woman's dark hair as she clumsily attempts to make her way down the escalator.

Shoppers on the same escalator move aside as the woman stumbles down against the upwards climbing escalator.

The clown continues to laugh as the woman throws her large handbag at his head. He bats it off with his hands, appearing amused at the woman's angry reaction.

Once at the bottom of the escalator, the clown collects another cream pie and makes his way back up to repeat his stunt on the woman.

Seeing the clown holding another pie, the woman pulls off her shoe and violently chucks it at the clown. With the woman struggling at the bottom of the escalator, the clown splats the woman again with the pie, covering her face in cream.

The woman clings to the railing before removing her other shoe and lobbing it at the surprised clown's head. Striking the clown on the head and knocking off his hat, the clown bursts into laughter.

Cursing at the clown, the woman heads up the escalator, still fuming at being unable to catch the clown despite her best efforts.

The hilarious video has already been viewed over 647,000 times on World Star Hip Hop, prompting dozens of comments about the woman's priceless reaction.
