Director-General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Imad Osman, met on Wednesday evening with Austrian Ambassador to Lebanon, Marian Werba, with whom he tackled the general security situation in the country.

Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Lebanon, Christoph Martin, also paid Osman a protocol visit during which he discussed with him ways to bolster cooperation between the internal security forces and the International Red Cross. 

Osman also met with a delegation from the Turkish gendarmerie, including Brig. Gen. Osman Aslan. The delegation is in Lebanon to explore the experiences of Lebanon's internal security forces.
