The office of late scholar Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah announced, in a statement on Wednesday, that the holy month of Ramadan will begin on forthcoming Wednesday, May 16.
"Upcoming Wednesday, May 16, is the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, according to the jurisprudential opinion of the late Religious Authority Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah," the statement read.
