Head of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council, Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan, on Thursday called politicians in Lebanon to cooperate in order to speed up the formation of a unifying government that will maintain in its state policy statement the constants and principles agreed by the Lebanese. 

"Lebanon is in need of honest efforts to fight corruption, end public funds' waste, venture into economic social development, and provide a decent life for the Lebanese seeking social security and political and security stability that restore citizens' trust in their state," Qabalan said in his Fitr message. 

He did not fail to underlined that Palestine was the cause of all Arabs, Muslims, and Christians.
