The National News Agency published a general review of the biography of Minister of State for Administrative Development May Chidiac: 

- Born in 1963 in Beirut.

- PhD holder in Communications from Paris II University Panthéon Assas.

- Has been teaching journalism at Notre Dame University Louaizé (NDU) since 1997.

- Founder and President of May Chidiac Foundation and its affiliated media academy.

- Founder and President of ALAC (Academy of Leadership & Applied Communications).

- Began her professional career at Free Lebanon Radio station in 1982. She was a correspondent and presenter of a television news program at LBC. She also took charge of the media department at the Lebanese embassy in Switzerland in 199 and 1990.

- Worked in the field of real estate between 1994 and 1998 and presented the morning political program "Nharkom Saiid" at the LBC from 1998 to 2005.

- Has always fought for the liberty of the Lebanese, which has put her under several death threats.

- Six months after the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafic Hariri in 2005, she was the victim of an assassination attempt, which she miraculously survived.

- Author of two books: "The sky will wait for me" which received "the Truth Prize", and "The television laid bare", published in 2014 and awarded the "Phenix" prize.

- Received several awards, including that of the UPF in 2005, that of UNESCO in 2006 and an honorary doctorate of AUST in 2018.

- Decorated as "Lady of the Order of St. Gregory the Great" by Pope Francis, in 2017.

- Received the insignia of Knight of the Order of the Legion of Honor from the President of France Jacques Chirac in 2006.
