Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said on Monday that the offers made by Iran to help Lebanon in several fields were merely propagandic.
In an interview with Al-Rai Kuwaiti daily, Geagea said: "If Iran wants to gear up the Lebanese army with air defense systems, why didn't the Iranians use them to confront the repeated Israeli attacks on them in Syria?"
"The Iranian offers are no more than publicity and propaganda," he underlined.
Geagea also stated that there would be no "obstacles" inside the government that could impede its action.
He also refused the depiction of the government as that of Hezbollah.
Furthermore, Geagea highlighted the necessity of the dissociation policy.
"We are not willing to renounce it under any circumstance," he stressed.
