National Defense Minister, Elias Bou Saab, on Friday received a congratulatory letter from Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, expressing his aspiration to bolstering ties of cooperation between the two brotherly countries to achieve international peace and security.

On the other hand, Minister Bou Saab received in his office at the ministry, the Cypriot Ambassador to Lebanon, Christina Rafti, who handed him a letter of congratulations on his ministerial appointment from his Cypriot counterpart.

Talks also reportedly touched on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, with emphasis on continued efforts to enhance prospects of cooperation between the two countries and the two armies.

Later, Bou Saab met with the Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammed Hassan Jaber Al Jaber, who congratulated him on his new ministerial post.

The meeting emphasized the brotherly, historc relations between the two countries.

Bou Saab expressed appreciation of Qatar's donations and assistance to the Lebanese state in the various sectors.

Among Bou Saab's itinerant visitors for today had been MP Ziad Aswad and former Minister Ziad Baorud, who congratulated him on his new post.
