Minister of Energy and Water, Nada Boustani and the Petroleum Sector Management Authority held a technical meeting Friday with the executives of Total E & P Liban SAL operating company at the Authority’s center, during which technical information related to the drilling of the first exploratory well in area number 4 was discussed.

Company experts explained about drilling operations of the first well, including the reservoir to be targeted by the drilling and well design and its geographical position in the exclusive economic waters of Lebanon within the square No. 4.

The first drilling site is located off the Lebanese coast north of Beirut, about 30 km from the beach.
