President of the Economic and Social Council of Lebanon, Charles Arbid, met with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, Hamad Saeed Al-Shamsi, at the Council's headquarters in Beirut DT.
After the meeting, Al-Shamsi said the visit was aimed at getting acquainted with the activities of the Council and its structure. "I would also like to see more cooperation between the UAE and Lebanon in several key sectors that serve Lebanon primarily," he said.
"The work of the Council is unique and our relationship should be direct. We in the UAE have many studies and experiences, and we have a highly developed technological sector that we seek to generalize so that Lebanon can benefit from this experience," the ambassador added.
