A group of Lebanese American University (LAU) students on Tuesday staged a protest on the road leading to the university's campus in Jbeil and prevented professors from accessing it.
The protesting students called on the administration to understand their situation, deeming it unfair to open the university doors and deliver classes to those who could reach campus whilst ignoring those who could not.
The protests took place in the presence of Lebanese army elements and members of Blat municipal police.
