A group of young men rallied in front of the Ministry of Social Affairs, demanding the release of activist Tarek al-Mallah and friends Bilal Aalaw, Firas Bou Zeinab and Ihab Yazbek.
The four men were arrested yesterday for pelting the car convoy of Minister Rachid Derbas with garbage.
The protesters head afterwards to the Justice Palace calling for a lawyer's authorization to meet with the detainees.
The group is expected to gather in front of the Grand Serail on Thursday at 10am, and in front of the ministry at 6pm of the same day.
