Beirut Governor, Judge Ziad Shbib, on Friday welcomed at the Municipal Palace the French Ambassador to Lebanon, Bruno Foucher, who visited him in the company of a French Embassy delegation.
The meeting featured high on the best means to activate cooperation between the city of Beirut and a number of French cities within several projects of common interest.
The pair also highlighted the need to swiftly accomplish and launch pending projects, especially the "House of Beirut", which is also known as "The Yellow House".
It is to note that France has been according special attention to the "House of Beirut" project due to its cultural and historical value.
The meeting had also been an occasion to discuss training courses for Beirut Firefighters and Beirut Guards.
