Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea confirmed that the direction the country is taking is the right one, despite some slowdown on one hand and unproductive back-and-forth on the other. He emphasized that the path currently being followed is the correct one.
"The problem is a party in Lebanon, not a sect, specifically Hezbollah. There’s no true political competition with them; they follow a completely different logic and speak a language that most Lebanese don’t understand, and they don’t understand ours either," Geagea explained.
"This is not just the view of the Lebanese Forces; 75% of Lebanese people reject this imposed reality, but the party remains determined and insists on it," Geagea added.
Geagea’s remarks came during the annual dinner of "Radio Free Lebanon", held at the party’s headquarters in Maarab.
