William Noun, brother of Fire Brigade martyr Joe Noun, speaking on the memorial of the August 4 Beirut Port explosion, said, "Having a minister affiliated with Hezbollah with us is important, but we really want Hezbollah to return to its Lebanese identity."
He added, "The August 4 case is both a humanitarian and national issue. We cannot forget the Ain El Remmaneh attack, Hajj Wafiq Safa’s intrusion into the Justice Palace, or his threats against Judge Tariq Bitar."
William Noun also stated, "The case is conditional on achieving justice, and we will not forget Hezbollah’s actions. It is unacceptable for us to endure political obstruction or interference from some judges. If everyone claims to support justice, then why has the indictment decision not yet been issued?"
