Ali Monzer Zaiter was a drug dealer who led the group that kidnapped Saudi citizen Mishari Al-Mutairi in Beirut in 2023.
He earned the nickname “Abou Salle” because he used to sell drugs to customers by lowering a basket from the balcony of his home in Fanar. He later relocated to the Zaiter family neighborhood in Al-Sharawneh and was considered one of the most notorious drug traffickers and among the most dangerous wanted individuals in Lebanon.
