Coinciding with the power outage caused by the current weather conditions, which Electricité du Liban is working to address, MTV has learned that Minister of Energy and Water Joe Saddi met this morning at the ministry with the company’s Director General, Kamal Hayek, to follow up on the matter. 

Saddi requested that Hayek open an investigation to ensure there was no deliberate act of sabotage, especially after information emerged raising suspicions about the nature of certain power outage incidents.
